Mildred E. Goeppel, 87 years of age of Medical Crossings Road Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Friday, March 30, 2018 in Hometown.
Daughter of the late Warren, and Mildred V. Goeppel she was also predeceased by a brother, Warren.
Mildred was a talented seamstress having worked in the Textile Industry. She enjoyed raising ponies at her farm in West Penn Twp.

Edward J. “Doc” Dougherty, 73, Emmaus, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 22, at his residence with his family at his side.
Born in Philadelphia he was a son of the late James D. and Betty Rose Cuff Dougherty. He had been employed as a finance/insurance manager for PNC Bank, Northampton, until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus, a graduate of Allentown College, now DeSales University, where he served as a board member for over 20 years, a life member of Greenleaf Lodge F&AM # 0561, a 32 degree member of Northern Masonic Lodge, Allentown and was a past exalted ruler of Mahanoy City Elks lodge # 695.
He joins his beloved wife of 36 years Elizabeth “Lu” Lee Dougherty and was also preceded in death by his brother John “Jay” Dougherty.
Ed is survived by his son Edward “Ted “ and his wife Meredith Dougherty, Fountain Hill, his daughter Kelly wife of Bill Worley, Emmaus, his 5 grandchildren; Emily, Delaney, Avery, Finn and Elliot.
Mass of Christian Burial, for Ed, will be celebrated on Saturday, April 7th , at 11 a.m. in St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Annunciation Cemetery Shenandoah Heights.
