Isabel M. Volosky, 91, of Shenandoah, PA, passed away Friday, April 20th, at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.
Isabel was born in Connerton, PA on July 15, 1926, a daughter of the late Isabel (Jamitis) and Joseph Yodis.
She graduated from Butler Township High School Class of 1944.
She was a member of Divine Mercy Shenandoah.
She belonged to St. Stephen's Ladies Auxiliary. Her passions were knitting, crocheting, and cooking for her family.
She was wife of the late Frank Volosky.
Isabel is survived by four daughters, Liz, wife of Bob Schlack, of Shenandoah; Mary, wife of Jeff Yurkiewicz, of Ringtown; Margaret, wife of Joseph Gwiazdowski, of York;
Frances, wife of M. Todd Price, of York. a son, Joseph, husband of Patrice Volosky, of Tamaqua; and by 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Isabel is preceded in death by sisters Ann Marie Jablonski and Helen Mihalko.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy, 218 W. Cherry Street Shenandoah, PA, at 11 AM on Thursday, April 26th, with Rev. Zachery Navit officiating.
Friends may call Thursday from 9 to 11AM at Divine Mercy.
Interment will be at a later date at Skyview Memorial Park Tamaqua, PA.
Family prefers donation to Shenandoah Manor Activities Dept. or Father Walter Ciszek Chapel fund.

Charles Watcher, 85, of Pottsville, formerly of Minersville, passed away on Saturday at Schuylkill Center.
Born on June 21, 1932 in Duncott, Cass Township, he was a son of the late Samuel Watcher and the late Ann Ritsko Watcher. He was a 1950 graduate of Cass Township High School, and worked as an anthracite miner for the Baron Coal Company and the Swatara Coal Company. He had also worked on highway construction with County Construction.
A devout Christian, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Minersville.
He and his family were well-known for go-kart demonstrations during community parades throughout the region. He enjoyed ice-skating. He was a devoted family man; and was a loving husband, father and grandfather, mentoring his only grandson, Robert, from childhood to adulthood, encouraging him in sports, ice-skating and driving his Mustang.
The last of 16 children, he was preceded by seven infant siblings and eight adult siblings, including John Watcher, killed in World War Two, Andrew Watcher, Metro Watcher, Anna Watcher, Mary Watcher, Theresa Barnhart, Margaret Spangler and Kathryn Hill. He was also preceded by a canine friend, Fluffy.
Surviving in addition to his grandson are his wife of 63 years, the former Shirley Marks; three children, Deborah Conway (spouse, Michael), Llewellyn, Charles Watcher (companion, Marie Hill), Pottsville, and Richard Watcher, Pottsville; a granddaughter, Nicole Conway; two great-grandchildren, Devon and Brooke Lemke. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Margaret Watcher, Severn, Maryland; nieces and nephews; his canine friends, Benji and Pepper.
Funeral services will be held in First United Methodist Church, 144 Carbon Street, Minersville, on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted to be used in accordance with the wishes of the family.
