James (Jay) R. Dalvet, 47, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday evening in St. Clair.
Born April 16, 1970, in Pottsville, he was the son of Charles and Sally (Meyers) Dalvet.
Jay was raised Catholic and graduated from Nativity BVM High School.
He enjoyed target shooting with his dad. Jay was a truck driver and employed by Ron-Troy Paving.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth (Breisch) Dalvet, his paternal grandfather, and both maternal grandparents.
In addition to his parents he is survived by sister, Krystal Brown wife of David, Hometown; brother, Timothy Dalvet, Pottsville; paternal grandmother, Barbara Dalvet; stepsons, Tyler and Tanner Brake.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00am on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Holy Cross RC Church 99 N Valley St, New Philadelphia, the Rev. Ronald Minner will be officiating.
