18 Year Old Faces DUI Charges After Crash on Interstate 81 Saturday Morning
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, just after 6:00am Saturday morning, Jesse Levan, 18, of Pine Grove was travelling south on Interstate 81 near Mile Marker 120 in Butler Township when he vehicle left the roadway and struck a concrete barrier.
Police say Levan showed signs of intoxication. He was taken to the State Police Frackville Barracks where he submitted a breath test and was above the legal limit. Charges were filed at at Magisterial District Judge Hale's office.

Man Flees the Scene of Interstate 81 Crash
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Interstate 81 south in Mahanoy Township around 2:30pm Saturday.
Police say Christopher Brennan, 40, of Girardville was travelling south on Interstate 81 when the tie rod broke on the front right wheel causing Brennan to lose control.
Brennan's vehicle then impacted an embankment where he then fled the scene on foot.
The vehicle suffered extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported.
