An accelerated emergency management training course (EMS 475-T55) is scheduled for Monday through Thursday, June 11 to Aug. 2, from 5:30 to 9:30 at LCCC’s Morgan Center in Tamaqua. Some Saturday classes are included. Cost is $1,200, which includes text. Scholarships are available to cover up to full tuition (book cost and fees additional).

The Healthcare Administrative Assistant program (TEC 301-T55) runs Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 30 through Sept. 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Training prepares individuals for office positions in a medical setting. Class includes computer skills, medical terminology and medical office practices. Cost is $895. Text is additional.
A Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) program (HEA 702-T55) prepares individuals for employment in skilled care facilities. Start your career as a nursing assistant and continue your studies to LPN or RN while working in the field. Class runs Monday through Thursday, June 18 through Aug. 14, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost is $1195; text is additional.
