The Mahanoy City Police Department has charged David Kuczynski, 63, of Mahanoy City for illegally dumping gasoline on May 23rd, 2018. Around Noon, police received a report of a male apparently dumping gasoline down a storm drain at the intersection of North Main and Railroad Streets in the borough.
The investigation determined that Kuczynski was the person who had dumped a quantity of gas down the storm drain inlet at that location. Chief Kenneth Zipovsky has charged the defendant with Scattering Rubbish and violation of the borough ordinance regarding the illegal dumping into creeks and drains. Kuczynski will have to respond to the charges at Magisterial District Judge Kilker’s office.
