According to Mahanoy City Police on Thursday around 1:30pm, police responded to a report of an assaulted female in the 200 Block of East Pine Street.
Police arrested Glenn Wood, 20, and charged him with two counts of simple assault, and 1 count of false imprisonment.
Wood was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 bail.
