According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred just before 8:00pm in the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 near Mile Marker 126.2 in Ryan Township.
Police say Everton Rutherford, 56, of Douglassville, GA was travelling south in his 2010 Volvo VNL when the front tire blew causing him to lose control.
The vehicle struck a guide rail, then a culvert, and went up an embankment into some trees.
Rutherford was not injured in the crash.
