Police Persuade Woman Off Roof During Incident
On Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 around 8:40am, Pottsville Police were dispatched to 1440 W. Norwegian Street for a person acting disorderly on a rooftop.
On scene, a 28 year old female was found to be on the roof of the residence and uncooperative with efforts to have her come back inside the building.
The street was temporarily shut down to traffic and pedestrians by Pottsville Police and Fire personnel.
After approximately 90 minutes the woman was persuaded to come off the roof safely. The investigation is continuing.
