According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, sometime Monday (06/18) or Tuesday (06/19), someone struck a vehicle that was parked unattended at Krick's Garage located on East Mahanoy Avenue in Girardville.
Parts left behind at the scene of crash lead police to believe that the vehicle involved in the crash was a 2015 Audi A3. When the vehicle fled, it is believed to have fled towards Lost Creek on Route 54.
The vehicle should have damage to the right front bumper/headlight area.
The Pennsylvania State Police is asking for anyone with information or may have seen the vehicle at a local body shop, parts shop, etc, to contact the Frackville barracks at (570) 874-5300 and ask for Trooper Michael Allar. All information given will remain confidential.
