Police in Pottsville are investing a Tuesday morning bank robbery.
According to Pottsville Police Chief Richard Wojiechowsky, "The Pottsville Bureau of Police is actively investigating an incident at the M&T Bank, Centre and E. Norwegian Street, at approximately 11:45am when a thin build white male, approximately 6’ tall, wearing a lime green shirt, dark hat and sunglasses gave a note to a teller demanding money. "

Wojiechowsky said "No weapon was used during the incident nor threatened to be used. After receiving the money the male left the bank in an unknown direction of travel."
