Stacie Louise Chapman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother of East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania at the age of 55. 

Born Monday, August 13, 1962 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania the daughter of Rita (Steigerwalt) Yasinsky of Tamaqua, and the late Chet Yasinsky. She is also survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Melvin T. Chapman; son, Phillip Yasinsky and his companion Kayla Cramer of Tamaqua; daughters, Tabitha Hicks wife of David of Tamaqua, Amy Davis wife of Barry of Summit Hill, Tiffany Chapman of Elizabeth, PA,; brother, Doug Yasinsky of Tamaqua; 5 grand children. 

A Tamaqua High School graduate, Stacie last worked for the Hartford AARP Health Insurance program in Allentown. Stacie was an avid reader who enjoyed fishing, knitting, and the company of her cats.

A Rememberance Service will be held on Tuesday evening June 12, 2018 at 7 o'clock P.M. from the funeral home. Freinds may call from 6:00 P.M. until time of services. 

Interment Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania.

Michael Paul Ziniewicz, age 26, of Kaska, PA passed away Wednesday, June 6th, 2018.

Born in Pottsville, PA on March 31, 1992, he was the son of Michael and Heather (Carpency) Ziniewicz.

Michael was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 2010. He worked as a electromechanical technician for Omnova Solutions in Auburn.

Michael loved fishing, being outdoors, woodworking, and playing the guitar and he was a member of the Lone Pine Fishing Club.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his wife Cassidy Sierra (Horan) Ziniewicz; two sisters: Amanda Ziniewicz; and Tiffany Moll and her husband Matt; paternal grandfather Anthony Ziniewicz; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike Street, Port Carbon at 11AM on Wednesday, June 13th, with Rev. Lorraine Heckman officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday morning from 9:30-11am at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held in the Holy Family Cemetery New Philadelphia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's Memory to Scholarship for the Schuylkill Technology Center.

David G. Novatnak, 63, of Cressona, passed away Tuesday at his residence.

David was born in Hazleton, on Sept. 16, 1954, a son of June Salko Novatnak, Hershey, and the late George "Corky" Novatnak.

He was the husband of Patricia Wytovich Novatnak.

David was a graduate of Freeland MMI Prepatory School. He attended Hartford Community College, Palmer Junior College and Luzerne County Community College. He then graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College, Davenport, Iowa.

He opened the Mount Hope Chiropractic Clinic in Pottsville in 1977 and in Wilkes-Barre in the 1980s. He then opened Doctors' Choice Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in the 1990s. David was also a certified professional coder and a chiropractic consultant.

He also enjoyed bowling and golfing along with his love for chiropractic.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Society where he served as the former district president from 1984-85; Pennsylvania Chiropractic Federation, former president 1991-94; Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, board member; former member of the Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce; and board member of former Pottsville Club.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Aleksandr Novatnak, husband of Lindsay, Schuylkill Haven; daughter, Katrina Greenawalt, wife of Ryan, Friedensburg; grandson, Wyatt David Greenawalt; sister, Donna Nooney, Hummelstown; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Virginia Bercik Wytovich, Pottsville; sister-in-law, Linda Wytovich, Pottsville; brother-in-law, Michael Wytovich, husband of Tammy, Pottsville; niece and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Monsignor Edward S. Zemanik officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held 9 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church. The family requests donations to Freeland MMI Preparatory School, 154 Centre St., Freeland, PA 18224, or Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, 1335 N. Front St., Harrisburg, PA 17102. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville

Warren E. Schneck, Jr., 73, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on December 23, 1944 in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Warren E. Sr. and Gertrude Barr Schneck.

He was a 1962 graduate of Pine Grove High School.

He was an Specialist in the Army having served with Co A 830 Engineer Battalion (Construction) USAREUR. He received the Marksman (Rife M-14) award.

Warren was a Truck Driver for various companies and lastly worked as a clerk at Werner's Lumber, Pine Grove.

He was a member of the Pine Grove VFW Post 3432, Pine Grove American Legion Post 374, H. H. & L. Fire Co. #1, Pine Grove Masonic Lodge No. 409 F & A.M.

Surviving are a daughter, Cristal Schneck of Lake Wynonah; a son, Troy Schneck of Schuylkill Haven; a granddaughter, Britnee Schneck; two sisters, Deanne Klinger of Pine Grove and Jean Pillar of Bel Air, Md; a brother, Ronald Schneck of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with SALM John Ziegler officiating. A procession to the cemetery will leave the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove at 10:15 A.M. Anyone wishing to follow should be at the Funeral Home by 10:00 A.M.

Minnie A. Wenrich, age 95, of Bethel, PA passed away peacefully at the Tremont Heath & Rehab Center on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

Born on March 7, 1923 in Washington Twp., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ada Herring Fenstermacher.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 52 years, Ernest S. Wenrich on March 1993; two brothers, Edgar Fenstermacher and Stanley Fenstermacher; a sister Isabel Brown.

Surviving are 4 daughters: Ada Frantz (Paul), Pine Grove; Anna Wiscount (David), Tremont; Bonnie Moore, Bethel; Sheila Reed (Freeman), Dillwyn, VA; 4 sons, Ernest R. Wenrich (Sheila), Tremont; Warren Wenrich, Bethel; Keith Wenrich (Audrey), Bernville; Kevin Wenrich, Bethel; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister Annie Moyer, Friedensburg; and a sister-in-law Frances Raudenbush, Pine Grove.

Minnie was a very caring and giving person. She touched the lives of so many people with her love and generosity. She especially enjoyed her flowers and gardens. She also delighted in using her many talents to support the family with various crafts, such as making braided rugs, feather flower arrangements, jewelry, etc. All enjoyed her homemade cider, breads and fresh vegetables that she sold at her roadside stand.


Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. There will be a visitation on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville,PA at the convenience of the family.

Regina Frances Jeffers, of Orwigsburg, PA, died on June 4, 2018 at Pinebrook Personal Care Center. Jean was the last remaining child of William and Catherine Berkley and sister of Catherine, William"Bub," Marian, Lawrence and Joseph. She was the wife of the late Michael Francis Jeffers and beloved stepmother to two sons and one daughter, treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews, a wonderful cousin and true friend to countless people everywhere she went to school, lived, traveled and worshiped. She is survived by many of these people for whom she was a source of joy, compassion and wisdom.

Jean was born in Philadelphia, PA, was a devout Catholic and offered herself to God as a Sister of the Good Shepherd during the early part of her life. She graduated from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned two Masters degrees in Theology from St. Mary’s College of the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana. She worked afterward as a human resource manager at Holy Redeemer Hospital. Jean believed in helping the poor and oppressed, in simplicity and in the mercy of God. She delighted in being in woods, birds, dogs, cats, flowers and trees. Jean was an avid reader, writer, thinker and artist. She enjoyed music, stimulating conversation and, more than anything, laughing with those who made her world.

Jean wrote, "The hours when the mind is absorbed by beauty are the only hours when we really live, so that the longer we can stay among these, so much the more is snatched from inevitable time."

Relatives and friends are invited to St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven, PA for a viewing on June 19th, 2018 from 9:30 am followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 Am. Burial services will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 20th.

In lieu of flowers, Jean asked that donations be made to the Divine Word Missionaries, PO Box 6099, Techny, IL 60082.
