Janet Davis, 78, native of Frackville, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall, PA on Sunday, June 24, 2018.
Born in Frackville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Florence Johnson Bailey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers John and Clarence (JR) Bailey.
Janet was a graduate of Frackville High School, member of the Class of 1957. During her years there, she made many long lasting friendships and spent much of her leisure time dancing to the tunes of the times. For 25 years she was married to William “Billy” Davis, with whom she raised two daughters, Colleen Davis, of Albrightsville and Philadelphia, and Jill Davis of Philadelphia. She is also survived by her brother Donald and his wife Lois Bailey, Arizona; her three sisters: Jean White, Fountain Springs, Joan and her husband Howard Snyder, Gordon and Florence Kehler, Girardville; several nieces and nephews.
Janet was a long time employee of Fund Plan Services and she retired from PNC Bank after many years of employment in the finance industry. She never lost her love of dancing. Even as she struggled with a debilitating illness she could still enjoy tapping out the beat to a Bill Haley song. Janet was a brave and loving person who brought joy into the lives of her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30th at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home in Frackville at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ernest Diefenderfer officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Ann Marie Donton, age 72, of Pottsville, PA passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, June 25th, 2018 at her daughter Beverly's home.
Born in Pottsville, PA on July 7, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Eleanora (Webber) Donton.
Ann Marie was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Pottsville. She was an avid bingo player and also loved playing the lottery, playing cards and going to the casino. Ann Marie cherished the time watching her children's and grandchildren's sporting events.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Miah, brothers: Glenn and Bob Edling and Clayton Donton, and sisters: Neida Ford, Laura Lukach, Oleda Hardy, and Ellie Mason.
Ann Marie is survived by daughter Brenda Schuettler; daughter Beverly Riegel; son Allan Riegel; son Benjamin Riegel; daughter Amanda Riegel and husband Anthony Sherman; daughter Amber Riegel; daughter April Shiller-Riegel and wife Tammi; 13 grandchildren: Aaron, Miranda, Abbey, Alyssa, Cierra, Benjamin, Dasia, Kiliel, Lily, Arieanna, Marcus, Madyson, and Makayla; sisters: Joann Schuster and Millie Bachert; beloved nephew John Mason; and many other nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St. Port Carbon at 5PM on Thursday, June 28th, with Envoy Brad and Gina Harris officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday afternoon from 3-5PM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held private.

Robert F. Kroh, 80, of Ashland, PA passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at his residence. Born in Ashland on April 15, 1938 the son of the late Roy and Mary (Hendricks) Kroh.
Robert graduated from Ashland High School. He was a miner at the Gilberton Coal Co. for over 30 years. He was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland.
Preceding him in death are his wife: Patricia (Long) Kroh, 1999. Daughter: Theresa, 2016. Brothers and sisters: Albert, Sam, Roy, Joseph, Helen, Margaret, Mary, and June. Grandchildren: Harry III and Laura Beth. Great grandchild: Nathan William.
Surviving are a daughter: Patricia Brobst companion of Tim Barns of Minersville, PA. Three sons: Michael husband of Donna Kroh of Ashland, PA; Jeffrey husband of Larae Kroh of Ashland, PA; Robert husband of Trish Kroh of McAdoo, PA. Sister: Florence Greer of Florida. Grandchildren: Lynn, Tom, Robert, Jess, Mike, Kimberly, Milissa, Angi, Nichole & Jeffrey . Many great-great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 with Rev. Paul Rothermel officiating. Interment at Citizens Cemetery, Lavelle, PA. Visitation will be Thursday, 9:30 AM until time of the service at the St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland.

James was born in Cressona, on April 29, 1935, a son of the late Verna E. (Miller)and FredYoder.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed as an at architectural designer for 30 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Nan Marie Yoder and sisters Linda Krebs, Betty Laubenstine and Eleanor Gibbs.
Jim is survived by William Yoder husband of Bernice, Sun City, AZ; brother Gerald Yoder husband of Shirly; sister Janet Yost wife of Donald, Cressona.
Services and interment will be privately held at the family's convenience.
