Around 4:45pm, emergency personnel were called to a motor vehicle accident with rollover on Suffolk Road (Route 54) in Mahanoy Township near Patriotic Hill Road between St. Nick's and Shenandoah.
At scene, responders found a vehicle on it's roof off the roadway. The driver was able to escape the accident without injury but blamed the freshly tarred and chipped road for causing the accident.
The Pennsylania State Police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
