Around 10:00pm, emergency crews were called to Sunbury Road (Route 901) near the intersection with Derr Road in Barry Township for a motor vehicle accident with rollover and entrapment.
According to State Troopers at the scene, one male victim who was described to be in his 60's was injured in the crash involving a Chevrolet Corvette. The victim was transported by Hegins Ambulance with serious injuries to a waiting helicopter at the Schuylkill County Airport. Foster Township Fire assisted at the landing zone.
The victim was described as having serious injuries.
Butler Township and Gordon Fire Departments responded as well as the Ashland Rescue. Hammer's Towing Assisted.
