Stephen George Moyer, 34, of Port Carbon, passed away on Saturday at his home.
Born in Pottsville, he was the son of George W. Moyer, Palo Alto, and Sue Ann Keefer Moyer, Pottsville. He was a 2001 graduate of Pottsville High School. He had been employed by Ark Rentals, Orwigsburg, and Hudson’s Bay Company, Highridge. He was also an accomplished glass artist.
He was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Pottsville.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his daughter, Lillian Anna Mae Moyer, Pottsville; two sisters, Tara Ellex (spouse, Ronald), Pottsville, and Cheryl Webster (fiancé, Michael Hinkle), Pottsville; his paternal grandmother, Rita T. Fenstermacher, Pottsville; his stepmother, Cathy Diane Moyer, Palo Alto; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Eleanor E. Barone, 90, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at her daughter's home in Mercersburg, PA, with her family by her side.
Born June 10, 1928 in Port Carbon, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Veronica Czahor Meros. She was a 1946 graduate of Soldiers Memorial High School. She resided in Baltimore before returning to Schuylkill County where she worked in the garment industry, including the former St. Clair Garment Company. She was a talented musician and seamstress.
She was a member of the former St. Joseph Church, Pottsville; and a current member of St. Patrick Church, Pottsville.
She was preceded in death by six siblings, Michael Meros, Sadie Stout, Theodore Meros, Andrew Meros, John Meros, and Joseph Meros.
Eleanor is survived by three children, Michael Barone (spouse, Susan), Allen, Texas, Rita Barone, Mercersburg, PA and Michelle Mastrangelo (spouse, Michael), Brigantine, New Jersey; five grandchildren, Joseph and Jonathan Barone, Mark E. Ryscavage, Michael Mastrangelo, Jr. and Michelle Mastrangelo; three great-grandchildren, Vincent, Julia and Benjamin Barone. She is also survived by three siblings, Chester Meros, Baltimore, Maryland, Virginia Doran, Port Carbon, PA and Edward Meros, Esq., Potomac, Maryland; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Sunday from 6:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 A.M. in St. Patrick Church, 401 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville. There will be no procession from the funeral home to the church. Instead, the family will gather at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass. Interment will be in St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery, East Norwegian Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Nativity BVM High School, 1 Lawtons Hill, Pottsville, PA 17901 or by visiting www.preservenativity.org.
