Frederick “Sonny” Lucas, 81, Englewood, Frackville, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday morning surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lavelle, he was a son of the late Fred and Lottie KuKu Lucas. He was self employed in the scrap yard business.
Sonny was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean War and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Frackville.
He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandsons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Bracey Lucas; his son Kevin Lucas; brothers: Roland and William Lucas; sisters: Peggy Hubler, Barrie Neumeister and Anna Marlow.
Sonny is survived by his son Roy and his wife Michele Lucas and their three sons James, David and Michael, all of Tamaqua, his companion Carletta Zeigenfuse Brinze, Frackville and her son Kevin and his wife Donna Brinze, Quakertown; his brother, Robert and his wife Lillian Lucas, Ashland RD; three sisters: Betsy and her husband Glen Mervine, Gordon, Geraldine Mervine, Ashland and Nancy Higgins, Gordon; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev. David Davis officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment with military honors will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Frackville.

Stacie Grace (Noll) O’Neill, 63, of Haven Fair Lawn, passed away July 11th at home, surrounded by family.
Born on September 19, 1954, she was the daughter of Phyllis and the late Kenneth Noll, Willow Lake.
She was the wife of William F. O’Neill, Jr.
She attended St. Ambrose grade school and was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School.
She worked at Pennsylvania Dialysis Clinic of Reading as a Dialysis Technician until her early retirement last year.
In addition to her Father, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Cayla Cierra Turner.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to being a devout Catholic, Stacie’s greatest love was being Mam Mam to her grandchildren.She spent much of her time at their sporting and school events.She loved carousels and annually took her family to see a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert.
Surviving, in addition to her mother and husband are her children Alethea Alvarez-Viars, Port Carbon, Eric Alvarez, his wife Jamie Alvarez, Lusby, MD, Letitia Alvarez, Schuylkill Haven, Anthony Alvarez, Annville, Daniel O’Neill, and his wife Alyssa O’Neill, Pottsville.
Also surviving are her grandchildren: Gregory Viars, Cora, Laila, Dominic, Christian and Amelia Alvarez, Elijah and Maximus Riggs, Addisyn Smith, Adelle and Tristan Burke, Lauren and Justin Watson, Owen, Kellan and Reagan O’Neill, a sister, Kyle Noll, Auburn, father-in-law, William F. O'Neill, Sr., Schuylkill Haven, as well as beloved friends, extended family, a niece, great nieces and nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Church in Schuylkill Haven on Monday, July 16th at 11 a.m.
A viewing will be in the church's chapel from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will immediately follow the service at St. Ambrose Cemetery, Cressona.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stacie’s Honor to St. Ambrose School, 201 Randel St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Gene Kenneth "Geno" Rhody, 80, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, July 11th, at home with his wife, six children, and family by his side.
Born in Joliett, PA on September 26, 1937, he was a son of the late Eugene & Lila (Bendigo) Rhody.
He was the loving husband of Mary M. (Hanney) Rhody.
Geno was an Army Reservist and retired from the Garden State Tannery in Fleetwood after 40 years of employment.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
Gene was a Little League coach and mentor, and was a member of the Little League Hall of Fame. He was a CYO coach, as well as an avid hunter and trap shooter.
He will be fondly remembered for his laugh and welcoming smile.
In addition to his wife, Geno is survived by four sons: Michael Rhody & wife, Laura, Andrew Rhody & wife, Eileen, Robert Rhody & wife, Michelle, & Thomas Rhody & wife, Kimberly, two daughters: Barbara Doyle & husband, John, & Linda Fryer & husband, Rick, as well as 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ralph Rhody, & David "Sam" Rhody, and nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Harold "Hal" Rhody.
A viewing will be held Monday, July 16th, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17th, with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating. There will be no calling hours at the church prior to mass.

Kelly L. Murphy, 51 of N. Crescent St., Tremont, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at home.
Born on February 23, 1967 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Timothy C. and Lois Woll Murphy of Tremont.
She was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and the Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing. She also attended McCann School of Business.
Kelly was an RN in the trauma unit for the former Pottsville Hospital.
She was a member of Pine Grove VFW.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Shannon Bertasavage, and paternal grandparents, Charles and Naomi Murphy.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a son, Noah Bertasavage at home; fiancée', Glen Mars, Jr., of Pine Grove; aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Father Dimitris Nicoloudakis officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Mid Penn Bank for the trust of Noah Bertasavage, 29 E. Main St. Tremont, Pa. 17981 in her memory.

Marie A. Leisey, 87, of Wyomissing, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Country Meadows, Reading.

Marie A. Leisey, 87, of Wyomissing, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Country Meadows, Reading.
Born on August 2, 1930 in Rausch Creek, she was a daughter of the late John and Florence Dodds Foy.
She was a former member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont.
She was a 1947 graduate of Tremont High School.
Marie and her husband Glenn enjoyed traveling through the United States and then concluded that part of traveling with a long trip up the Alkan Highway to Alaska. After that they wintered in Lake Wales, FL and cruised the Caribbean. Marie loved to travel, riding the waves in Wildwood and sewing and crocheting for her children and grandchildren.
Marie was a seamstress at Summit Station Mfg., for nearly 20 years.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 62 years, Glenn E Leisey, a sister Myrtle Cleary, two brothers John Foy and Anthony Foy.
Marie and Glenn raised their family of 3 girls, Mary Jane Leisey Geiter of Lancaster, Patricia Dundore of Shoemakersville, Annette Burgess of Ft.. Lauderdale, Fl.; a son, Larry Leisey of Reading in that home in Rock, Pa. Gram and Pappy have 5 grandchildren, Gregory R. Felty, Andrew Burgess, Laura Powell, Jennifer Burgess, Harrison Leisey; 1 great-grandchild, Cody Felty; 4 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Father Jason Stokes officiating. Interment will follow in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Gary M. Bolich, Lavelle Road, of Lavelle, passed away Wednesday, July 11th, at his residence.
Born in Fountain Springs at the former Ashland State General Hospital, March 2, 1949, he was the son of the late Marlin and Stella Quick Bolich. He was a graduate of the North Schuylkill High School, Ashland, and was employed for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 19 years as a Security Officer and Security Training Supervisor at the Capital complex, Harrisburg, until his retirement.
Preceding him in death was a brother Larry Bolich, passing in 1978, and a sister Lisa Francis, passing in 1994.
