According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, around 6:00pm, Friday, Esvin Diaz-Perez, 26 was stopped at the Sharp Mountain Plaza, on the Gordon Nagle Trail, Pottsville, for an expired registration.
During the stop, police learned Diaz-Perez was an illegal alien with an active full extradition warrant out of the Manatee County, Florida Sheriff's Office for lewd and lascivious battery.
Diaz-Perez was charged with arrest prior to requisition, arraigned and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $100,000 straight cash bail.
Arrangements are also being made to extradite Diaz-Perez back to Florida.
