The USAC “Wingless” East Coast Sprints make their return to Big Diamond Speedway this Friday July 20th on Slifko Service Center Night along with Midgets, Central PA Legends and Road Runners.
The United States Auto Club “Wingless” East Coast Sprints make the second and final appearance for 2018 this Friday at the Big Diamond Speedway on Slifko Service Center night. In their only other visit this season, it was Modified points leader Ryan Godown pulling off the thrilling victory over a strong field of drivers. Godown will once again be in action this Friday trying to sweep the season’s events. Godown will have stiff competition from club stalwarts Steven Drevicki who is the current points leader in the series along with Eddie Strada, Joey Biasi Jr and Chandler Leiby.
The USAC Eastern Midgets will also be making their final appearance of the season at the speedway on Friday night. Alex Bright won the time the midgets were at the speedway and Bright who currently leads the series with three wins will be looking to add to that total.
Also, on the card for Friday night will be the return of the Central PA Legend cars. The last time this group was in town they put a terrific show for the fans and I am sure this Friday will be no different.
Rounding out the night will be the Savage 61 Road Runners. The Road Runners led by points leader Mike Reichert always put on a crowd pleasing main event for the fans and with the season winding down and the points race tightening up this Friday night’s race should be no exception.
Gates open at 5:30pm with warm-ups getting underway at 7:30pm.
General admission for this Friday is $15, Seniors are $13. Kids 10 & under are admitted free. Active military with valid ID are free.
