Around 11:30am, emergency personnel were called to 566 High Road, near Lavelle, in Butler Township for a two vehicle crash with injury.
The crash involved an SUV and a United States Mail Carrier vehicle.
One person from the mail truck was taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
A second person in the mail truck and the driver of the SUV were not injured.
Responding to the scene were Butler Township Police, Lavelle Fire, Washington Rescue (Ashland), Washington Ambulance (Ashland), Shenandoah Ambulance, and Fountain Springs Fire. Oakland Auto was called to the scene to tow both vehicles.
