According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 12:30pm, Friday in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Ryan Township near Milemarker 124.8.
Police say the crash occurred while it was raining when a tractor trailer and a Hyundai Santa Fe (Drivers were not identified) where traveling next to each other heading north. The tractor trailer attempted to move from the left lane to the right lane and struck the driver's side door of the Santa Fe.
Both drivers were able to safely bring their vehicles under control. Both were wearing seatbelts and were not inured. The Santa Fe received moderate damage but both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
