Man Arrested for Retail Theft Also Wanted on Bench Warrant
On Thursday, August 2nd, 2018, Saint Clair Police took Matthew Harvey Zweizig of Lavelle into custody following a retail theft arrest at the Saint Clair Walmart around 7:30PM.
Zweizig was found to have an active bench warrant from the Schuylkill County District Attorney's Office. He was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison. Charges will be filed related to the theft.
Man Charged for Violating Protection from Abuse Order
Saint Clair Police have charged Trevor John Gibas of Cumbola for violating a protection from abuse order (PFA), as well as criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
The charges stem from an incident at the Schuylkill County Housing Authority property located in the 300 Block of Cherry Street. Gibas was found to have an active arrest warrant. Gibas was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David A Plachko. He was committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 bail.
