Around 3:30pm, Saturday afternoon, emergency personnel were called to 110 Gordon Road, near Gordon in Butler Township for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
When crews arrived they found two male victims injured in a Jeep and a female victim injured in pick up truck that struck head-on. The three injured were taken via ambulance to waiting helicopters to be transported to area hospitals.
A fourth person was also taken into custody by Butler Township Police at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is still on-going by Butler Township Police.
Responding to the scene were Fountain Springs Fire, Englewood Fire, Washington Rescue, Lavelle Fire, 2 Washington Ambulances, 1 Area Services Ambulance.
Units at the scene relocated to the former Ashland Hospital to set up a landing zone.
