Mahanoy City Police Take Woman into Custody on Bench Warrant

On Monday morning, the Mahanoy City Police took a woman into custody that was wanted on a County Bench Warrant.

According to Mahanoy City Police, Cynamon Merook, 23, formerly from Mahanoy City, was taken into custody Monday morning after an incident on West Centre St.

Merook had an active Scuylkill County Bench Warrant stemming from a previous drug charge and was committed to Schuylkill County Prison
