Widow of Charles Herring who passed away on March 14, 2016.
Blanche is survived by her dear niece, Mary Frances (Chamberlain) Migiorino and her husband Robert and their sons Joseph and Michael; along with many nephews, nieces, cousins, and good friends.
A graduate of Summit Hill High School and Franklin School in Philadelphia, Blanche retired from the former Coaldale State Hospital having serving as supervisor of the X-Ray department for many years. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Coaldale, teaching Sunday School, and as a former director of the Choir. She and Charles belonged to the former Mahoning Valley Country Club where they were both avid golfers. Blanche was a member of the Lake Hauto Club and enjoyed playing Bridge. She was a Penn State and Pittsburgh Steeler's football fan. Blanche and Charles wintered in Florida for many years.
Born Monday, April 1, 1929 in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Nicholas Marino, and Frances M. (Napoli) Olmi. Blanche was also predeceased by; her son, Charles R. Herrring; sisters, Esther M. Chamberlain, Ida Unger; and step-father, Joseph Olmi.

A funeral service will be at 11 o'clock AM on Wednesday September 26, 2018 from the First Congregational Church of Coaldale located at 123 East Ruddle Street Coaldale, Pennsylvania 18218. Rev. Steven Nemeth and Rev., Dr. Wayne Benack to officiate. Friends may call in church from 9:30 A.M. until time of worship.
Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown, Pennsylvania.

James E. Colahan, 66, of Mt. Carmel passed away Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at the home of his son in Gordon, PA.
Born in Columbia County August 9, 1952 the son of the late John and Ruth (Minnich) Colahan. He graduated from North Schuylkill High School and worked as a woodworker for many years until retirement. He was a member of the Wilberton Fire Company and the Life member of the Clover Fire Company, Mt. Carmel.
A daughter Tammy wife of David Razzis of Wilberton, PA. Three sons: James Jr. husband of Kelly Colahan of Gordon, PA., Michael husband of Kathy Colahan of Wilberton, PA. and Jason Colahan of Ashland, PA. Four sisters survive: Emma Lonsdale, Wilberton; Nancy Confair, Wilberton; Jackie Kobilis, Wilberton and Donna Flain, Mahanoy City, PA. Fourteen grandchildren, nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral Service will be held from the Willard Rothermel Funeral Home, Mt. Carmel, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 26,2018.

Dorothy M. Shadle, 89, of Lavelle, passed away Saturday morning, September 22nd, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Lavelle, February 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late George and Leona Banning Leach. She was a graduate of the former Ashland High School, class of 1947, and was employed for thirty one years as a Sub Clerk with the U.S. Postal Service in the Lavelle Post Office. Dorothy was a kind and loving women. She cared very deeply about her family and the people she served daily at the post office. Her dedication to her church, post office, and friends was unmeasurable. She was the mother of four adoptive children, always taking pride as home maker.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Tuesday, September 25th, 11 AM, in Christ United Lutheran Church, 437 Airport Road, Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Laura Csellak, pastor of Christ United Lutheran Church, and Rev. Paul Rothermel, Pastor of St. Charles Barromeo Catholic Parish. Interment will be in the Citizen’s Cemetery, Lavelle. Theodore A. Kemmerling, 76, of Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at home.
Born on March 9, 1942 in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Charles M. and Dora A. Herring Kemmerling.
Theodore was a self employed carpenter.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Judith A. Kemmerling in 2009, four brothers, Roy Kemmerling, Daniel Kemmerling, Harvey Kemmerling Sr., and Robert Kemmerling; two sisters, Eva Zimmerman and Ina Zerbe.
Surviving are two sons, Theodore Kemmerling II, Michael A. Stalnecker, both of Pine Grove; two granddaughters, Lindsey and Katie Kemmerling; a brother, Kurt Kemmerling, Sr. of Pine Grove; two sisters, Olive Charles of Newark, DE, Doris Bohler of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
