Mahanoy Area Receives Threat

As of 2:00pm, Wednesday afternoon, the Mahanoy Area School District is on an internal lock-down due to a threat.

According to a notification sent to parents, the threat was found on bathroom wall.

At 3:15pm, the school notified parents again stating that the investigation has been cleared and the lock down has been lifted.
