The Washington Fire Company Community Ambulance Inc. will soon unveil their new ambulance building and the public is welcome.
On Saturday, November 3, 2018, an open house will be held at the new building located at 1301 Centre Street from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
According to President David Mitten, the project took six years from start to finish.
"The new building will enhance our ability to serve the community and will provide our organization with much needed space for storage of supplies. It also includes an administrative office for staff and EMTS, a large room for staff training classes and meetings, a kitchen, day room, bunk rooms, shower and bathroom facilities." said Mitten.
A ribbon cutting earlier in the day and the open house will recognize the beginning of use of the new building.
