No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 last week.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred while William Coward, 48, of Ashland was travelling northbound on Interstate 81 near milemarker 129 around 3:55pm on Thursday, October 25, 2018.
Police say Coward lost control of his Ford Escape when he swerved to avoid something in the roadway.
Coward travelled off the berm and struck the guard rail.
Coward was not injured in the crash and refused medical treatment at the scene.
The vehicle required towing from the scene.
Assisting at the scene were the West End Fire Company, Mahanoy City, and the Ryan Township Ambulance.
