Upon arrival, it was discovered that two vehicles were involved, with one vehicle on its side with the occupant still inside.
Upon conducting the investigation, it was determined that Lori Fultz, 45, of Orwigsburg had been traveling south on Route 61 in her brown Jaguar XF in the right lane when she failed to stop for the red light facing her direction of travel at the Arch Street intersection.
As Fultz proceeded into the intersection, she struck the right side of a grey Subaru Forrester being operated by a 28 year old Orwigsburg woman who was traveling West on Arch through the intersection.
The force of the impact caused the Subaru to land on the driver’s side in the roadway and the operator was assisted from the vehicle by members of the Yorkville Hose Co.
No injuries sustained by either driver.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Ptlm. Joseph Murton will be citing Fultz for the red light violation.
