On Tuedsay, October 2, 2018, the Orwigsburg Police Department was made aware of a theft that had occurred sometime between 5:30pm on 10/01/2018 and 8:00am on 10/02/2018 in the 400 block of Long Avenue.
Police say an employee of Nelson Tree Service LLC advised police that it was discovered that locks on the side compartments of one of the company's vehicle were drilled out.
Tools valued at $2,273.00 were taken from the vehicle.
Security footage from the area showed individuals with flashlights in and around the vehicles between 8:00pm and 8:15pm on Monday October 1, 2018.
