Mahanoy Township Police along with others are searching a wooded area near Tamaqua for a missing teen Wednesday afternoon.
According to Mahanoy Township Police Chief Brandon Alexander, Vincent Golinski, a teen from Mahanoy Township was reported missing earlier this week.
Early reports were he was in the Tamaqua Area.
Alexander reports that the Mahanoy Township Police Department along with multiple search dogs, search and rescue teams, and drones are searching the woods in an area near the Tamaqua High School as well as an area off of East Elm Street for Golinski. Northeast Search and Rescue is assisting with teams and air support.
Golinski was reported to have been seen walking into a wooded area near Lehigh Anthracite Coal Company earlier as well.
