Born Tuesday, June 26, 1928 in West Penn, Township the daughter of the late Oscar, and Mildred (Shellhammer) Oswald. She was also predeceased by her husband, Calvin Middlecamp; sister, Mrs. Jean Balliet; brothers, Richard, John, and Lester Oswald; and long time partner Diamond Merkel.
Surviving are; son, Steve C. Middlecamp and his wife, Ann of Hobe Sound, FL; grand daughter, Amy Middlecamp and her wife Amy Buda of Coatsville.
A member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township, Phyllis was a member of the Avenue's of Tamaqua. She was very social and enjoyed doing crafts.
Phyllis worked for the former J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills of Tamaqua.

Rose M. Salman, 96, of Shenandoah, PA passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Ridgeview Nursing & Rehab Center, Shenandoah, PA.
Born in Ashland, PA on August 10, 1922 the daughter of the late John Peters and Theresa Kleman Peters Ackley.
Rose graduated from the first class at Butler Twp. High School in 1941. She was member of St. Mauritius Church, Ashland. She married Frank Salman at St. Mauritius Church in 1946. She was raised by her grandmother, Rose Schaen Kleman, for most of her life.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Salman, August 2, 1976; Sister: Lillian Seiberling, March 23, 2010; Grandmother: Rose Kleman; Grandfather: Peter Kleman; and Cousins: Carl and Francis Kleman.
Surviving are nephews: Tom Seiberling of Frackville; Robert Seiberling of Northumberland; Bill Seiberling of Huntingdon. Niece: Kay Marie Bachman of Millersburg. Cousins: Patrick husband of Vera Kleman of Frackville; and Dorothy Fuedale.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland, PA, at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 1, 2018 with Rev. Paul Rothermel officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery, Ft. Springs, PA. Viewing 9:30-10:30 AM, Thursday, November 1 at St. Charles Borromeo Church.

Born in Barry Township, October 21, 1938, a daughter of the late William and Verna Carl Lucas.
Betsy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Tremont.
Betsy's life revolved around her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her. She enjoyed cooking, baking and canning. She will be remembered for her kindness, style, grace, generosity and her strong faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert L. Wolfgang, 2015: daughter-in-law, Laurie Wolfgang; great grandson, Cole Wolfgang; sisters, Linda Morgan, Grace Madenford, Marion Deeter, Pauline Carter, Anna Mae Lucas, Verna Lucas; brothers, Lewis, Joe, William and Harold Lucas.
Betsy is survived by one daughter, Melissa A. Wolfgang, Hegins; five sons, Robert T and his companion Lori of Dewey, AZ; Terry and his wife Peggy of Hegins; Scott of Joliett; Keith and his wife Bonnie of Joliett and Troy and his wife Rebecca of Good Spring; twelve grandchildren Danielle, Valerie, Robert K., Tamara, Angela, Adam, Matthew, Ashley, Scott, Jonathan, Jennifer, and Lauren; eleven great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry, Henry, Robert and John Lucas; sisters, Shirley Deeter, Jean Kroh, Carol Ann Nelson, Janet Maidenford, Cindy Schnoke and Barbara Bassininsky. Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, November 3rd at 4 pm from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Green and Locust Streets, Tremont, with Elder Walter Kuehn. Visitation will be from 3-4 at the hall.
