Ashland Borough Council Meeting Notes from the November Monthly Meeting held on November 14, 2018.

All members were present.
The minutes were approved from the previous meeting.
Officer reports and bills and transfers were also approved.
Under business:
Ordinance 645 was motioned, approved, and adopted - Regulating The Keeping Of Dangerous, Wild And/Or Exotic Animals.
Resolution 2018-11-1 was motioned, approved, and adopted - Tax Anticipation Loan Adopted - approving loan of $100,000 @ 3.85% from M&T Bank.
Resolution 2018-11-2 was motioned, approved, and adopted - Application for funding with the PA Housing Finance Agency. The resolution allows the borough to file an application to receive up to $250,000 to rehabilitate occupied blighted properties in the borough, especially those owned by senior households or those on fixed incomes.
A Letter was read from the Ashland Area Rotary Club Authorizing the Santa Parade on Sunday November 25, 2018 at 5:00pm.

A motion was requested and approved for Solicitor Securda to increase collection efforts for delinquent utility accounts.
Under Other Business, Councilman Cooney congratulated North Schuylkill Football on winning the District 11 Championship.
Borough Manager Jones thanked Kramer Contracting for the annual monetary donations to both fire companies.
