The event is sponsored by the Pottsville Recreation Commission and the Pottsville Business Association.
New this year to the contest is Business can now enter.
The contest is split into two categories:
- Traditional (Classic Decorations - Garland, window candles, wreaths, and lights)
- Modern (Lights, colors, animations, and inflatable decorations)
All entries must be within the city limits and the first 100 entries will receive a commemorative Christmas Ornament.
First prize to the home winners is $75, $50 for second, and $25 for third.
Business winners will receive a trophy and the overall trophy winning trophy will be a travelling trophy who will go to the winner for years going forward.
Entry forms will need be submitted by December 1st, 2018 at 4:00pm. Forms can either be mailed to cityadministration@city.pottsville.pa.us, faxed to (570) 628-4418, or mailed to PO Box 50, Pottsville, PA.
