Patricia Ann Harring, age 62, of Tremont, earned her angel wings surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest, Allentown.

She was born on Thursday, October 4, 1956, in Pottsville, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth Steckley Freeman.

She was a graduate of Williams Valley High School Class of 1975, and Empire Beauty School.

She was a Corrections Officer at the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville.

She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Tremont.

She was also a member of the Schuylkill County Corrections Association. Patricia loved to travel, especially going to the beach with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband David Harring, to whom she was married for 25 years.

She is also survived by five daughters, Niki Wessner and fiancé Dominick Soricelli of Tremont, Danielle Kennemore and her husband Robert of Tremont, Rebecca Moyer and her husband Jared of Tremont, Rachel Guinther and her husband Andy of Frackville, and Sarah Harring, Tremont; two brothers, Bennett Freeman and his wife Kathy of Weishample, and Ronald Freeman and his wife Jodie of Tremont; sixteen grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Wednesday November 14, 2018, at 11 am with Rev. Ira Lydic officiating.

A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 on Wednesday at the funeral home,

Burial will be made in Donaldson Community Cemetery.

Joan (Didyoung) Schistle, 83, of South Jardin Street, Shenandoah, passed away Saturday at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Shenandoah, February 11, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Margaret Didyoung.

Joan was a seamstress in the local garment industry, having been employed at the former Connie Fashions, Shenandoah, and prior to her retirement at the former Alma Dress Co., Shenandoah.

She was a member of the former St. George Church, Shenandoah, where she volunteered her time, especially at the weekly bingos. Joan was an avid football fan. Her favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers and Notre Dame.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Schistle Sr., in 1989; three brothers and three sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are her two sons, Leonard J. Schistle Jr. and his wife, Susan, Shenandoah Heights, and Mark W. Schistle, Shenandoah; her daughter, Sharon Kuropatsky, Delano; five grandchildren, Robert Komosinsky, Delano, Leonard W. Schistle and his wife, Ashley, Hamburg, Shane Kuropatsky, Tamaqua and Al-lison and Tiffany Kuropatsky, both of Delano; five great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Braylon, Leonard, Landon and Bryce; nieces, nephews and their families.

Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian will officiate. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m.

Wednesday at the funeral home. Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah, is in charge of arrangements.
