Ronald C. Brown, Jr. age 57, died on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at home in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
Ron was born in Hazleton and was the son of Kay L. ( Bainbridge) Brown with whom he resided. He was predeceased by his father, Ronald C. Brown, Sr. and a son, David Brown.
Surviving are sons, Ronald Brown, III and Edward Brown, daughter, Joyanne Brown, sister, Ann M. Meckes of Tamaqua, PA. and several nieces and nephews.
Ron was a Tamaqua Area High School Graduate, Class of 1980. Ron loved music and he listened avidly.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home.

Jean L. Glessner, 92, of Ashland. passed away Saturday, November 24th, 2018 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville, PA. Born in Ashland,PA June 16,1926 the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Dreshman) Strobel.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland; the Women of the ELCA; Graduated from Ashland High School Class of 1944. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Ashland V.F.W. Post 7654. Jean last worked at the North Schuylkill High School in the guidance dept. until retirement and was an avid bowler.
Preceding her in death was her husband Robert J. Glessner in Nov., 2017. Three sisters also preceded her in death: Elizabeth Gruber, Martha Kaufman and Fay Wetzel. Surviving are two sons: Gary husband of Kathy Glessner, Ashland; David husband of Linda Glessner, Harrisburg, PA. Three grandchildren: Kyle Glessner, Alicia Jones and Chris Glessner. One greatgrandson: Cameron Jones. Nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday Nov.28,2018 at 11:00 A.M. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North 9th St. Ashland, PA. Rev. Dana Heckman Biel officiating.
Interment in Brock Cemetery, Ashland, PA. Visitation Wednesday 9:00-11:00 A.M. from Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland.

John Badaczewski, Jr., 76, went home to be with the Lord in Orwigsburg, PA, on November 22nd.
John was Head of the Math Dept. at Arch Bishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C.
He was named "Teacher of the Year" in 2000. John said being so named "is the ultimate of my career as a teacher."
John was also an assistant football coach for Carroll.
He was inducted in the Hall of Honor on June 11, 2007 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He was also inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Arch Bishop Carroll High School in 2012.
His father, who bore the same name, played guard for the Redskins when the family moved to Washington D. C. from PA decades ago.
John retired in 2007 after teaching at Carroll for 41 years. He enjoyed his retirement with his wife, Joan, in "The Villages", Florida. They moved to PA 8 months ago to be close to his children & grandchildren. In addition to his father, and mother, Betty (Phenicie) Badaczewski, he was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher on October 18, 1993, and his sister, Mary Musgrove on April 9, 2018.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his daughter, Cara Lynne Risher, two grandchildren: Chris & Marilyn, sister, Patricia Latora, brother, Bob Badaczewski, his niece Candice Wilson, step-daughter, Melody Morris, step-son, Edward Maiolatesi, nieces and nephews and cousins.
A private mass will be conducted at the family's convenience.

William L. Wright, 73, of Spruce St, Ashland, passed away at home Saturday afternoon.
Born in Ashland on August 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Herman Q. And Blanche Long Wright. Bill attended Mount Carmel Schools. Following high school, Bill became a mechanic and a certified welder. He was incredibly hard working throughout his life and worked for companies such as Blaschak Coal, Dana Steel, Dickinson Crane, and several others. He became a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 542 through which he was employed until his retirement. He was also the owner/operator of B.W. Welding. Bill was a member of the American Hose Company #1 of Ashland, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #384 of Ashland, a social member of the American Legion Post 434, Ashland, and the Happy Valley Rod and Gun Club, Sullivan County.
Bill loved traveling the country and going on casino trips with his wife, hunting, his cats, playing cards at the Elks with his sister Dorothy, and especially cherished the time spent with his youngest granddaughter Hadley. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Viola "Toot" Wright, who passed away November 13, 2017; a son David; and brothers Addison "James", Herman, Kerry, and Pete Wright.

Milton H. Reichert, 79, of Ponderosa Lane, Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East.
Born on September 25, 1939 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Garfield G. and Bertha Zimmerman Reichert.
Milton was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Friedensburg, Pine Grove Masonic Lodge #409 F. & A.M, and Roedersville Gun Club.
He was an Air Force veteran having last served with the 3913th Combat Support. He was also a member of the Military Police and was a boxer during the service.
Milton worked as a technician at Gold Mills and retired from the Pine Grove School District where he was the custodian.
He loved racing homing pigeons for many years, hunting and fishing with his great grandson. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies Fan, Jeff Gordon Fan and loved watching western movies.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 58 years, RuthAnn Shollenberger Reichert on March 2, 2018 and a grandson, Kyle Umbenhauer.
Surviving are a son Curtis and wife Trudy Reichert, daughter, Robin Umbenhauer, both of Pine Grove; 5 grandchildren, James, Jr. and wife Jen Umbenhauer, Alicia Desimone and companion Sam Ruiz, Tiffany and husband Soran Ahmad, Maggie and husband Matt Boyer, Melissa Seiger, 5 great-grandchild, Marshall Umbenhauer, Ariella and Colson Desimone, Mason and Mallory Boyer; 3 brothers, Garfield Reichert of Jonestown, Ralph and wife Lucille Reichert, Dale and wife Ann Reichert, both of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at St. John's Refomed Church, 17 Chestnut St., Friedensburg with Pastor Matt Kenitzer officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 at the Church. Masonic Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. at the Church. Interment will follow in St. John's Reformed Cemetery, Friedensburg.

Kenneth R. "Dutch" Snyder, 87, of Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East.
Born on July 14, 1931 in Bethel, he was a son of the late George and Carrie Wagner Snyder.
He was a 1949 graduate of Bethel High School.
Kenneth was a Sergeant in the Army having served during the Korean Conflict.
Kenneth was a Supervisor for Wagman Construction in York.
He was a member of the Little Swatara Church of the Brethren in Bethel, Pine Grove Fish and Game, Lebanon Building Association and former member of the Pine Grove Lions Club.
Preceding him in death were his wife Barbara Witmer Snyder; two sons, Daniel and David Snyder; step son Todd Turner; 6 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Denise and husband Robert Wolfe of Pine Grove, Diane and husband Rob Kreiser of Jonestown; step son Kenneth "Cheeks" and wife Vicki Witmer of Hegins; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 8:00 P.M. with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a calling time on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at a later date in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
