According to the National Weather Service, Schuylkill County is expected to receive anywhere from 3-5 inches of snow and possibly up to a tenth of an inch of ice from sleet and a wintry mix that could fall late with the storm.
The next big question is timing.
The snowfall portion of the storm looks like an day event with snow beginning late morning around 10-11am.
Snow will continue through the afternoon hours until the afternoon rush hour in the 4-6 timeframe when the snow will change to a wintry mix when temperatures warm up closer to the freezing mark.
Overnight the wintry mix will change to all rain as temperatures go above freezing, with a chance for more snow showers around daybreak.
