Ann T. “Tess” Monahan, 97 of Pottsville, died Wednesday at ManorCare Health Service, Pottsville.

She was born March 11, 1921 in Tremont a daughter of late Thomas V. and Ann Flemming Monahan.

Prior to retiring she was employed by the City of Pottsville.

Tess was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John T. Monahan; a sister, Mary C. Rees. Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11AM from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a viewing Friday at 9:30-10:30AM at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to St. Patrick Memorial Fund 319 Mahantongo St. Pottsville PA, 17901. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.

Rosemarie Spotts, age 74, of Valley View, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on Tuesday, October 3, 1944, in Ashland, a daughter of the late John Kreiser and the late Freda Klouser Kreiser.

She was a 1962 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.

Rose enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Jamie L Spotts.

She is survived by her husband Ronald G Spotts, to whom she was married for 54 years.

She is also survived by a daughter, Rhonda M Spotts of Hershey; two granddaughters, Abrie L Spotts and Ariana M Settles both of Hershey; a grandson, Andrew M Settles of Hershey; a great granddaughter, Dahlia M Russ-Spotts of Hershey; three sisters, Dianne Straub and her husband George of Laureldale, Karen Lepore and her husband Eugene of Shillington, and Cheryl Maurer and her husband Vernon of Hegins; two brothers, Lon Kreiser and Tod Kreiser and his companion Tracy all of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
