William J. Benner, Sr., 67 of Coaldale, Pennsylvania died on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in Coaldale.
Survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Lois (Hanzarik) Benner; son, William Benner, Jr. of Coaldale; daughter, Abigail Yakaboski and her husband, Michael of Pine Grove; grand children, William III, Ethan, Logan, and Lane.
Born Sunday, September 30, 1951 in Allentown the son of the late Donald and Corrinne (Mark) Benner. William was one of eight children.
A graduate of Catasaqua High School. William served honorably in the United states Army.

Alvin A. Miller, 91, of Tulpehocken St. Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the hospice unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born on July 14, 1927 in Pine Grove, he was a son of Lewis L. and Minnie Schnoke Miller.
He was a Sergeant in the Army.

Alvin attended the Philadelphia Institute of Barbery and was a self employed Barber in Pine Grove for 60 years.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Alvin loved baseball and played for several local teams.
Preceding him in death were four brothers, Samuel Stoudt, H. Lewis Miller, Monroe Miller, Cletus Miller; a sister, Mabel Wolfe.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years Ellen Doran Miller; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Dr. Richard Schoenleber officiating. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
