She was December 7, 1926 in Pottsville a daughter of the late Thomas and Marian Campbell.
She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and Chestnut Hill College.
Mary was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, volunteer at the Pottsville Soup Kitchen and former Good Samaritan Hospital and received the Citizens of the Year Award at the Pottsville Winter Carnival.
She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Dimmerling, Sr., on March 24, 2004; 2 brothers, James and John Campbell. Surviving are 2 daughters, Molly A. Greenawalt and her husband John, Hummelstown; Lisa Knapp and her husband Robert, Alpharetta, GA: 2 granddaughters, Kelly Heffron, Crofton, MD; Kerry Freed, Wake Forest, N.C.; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. There will be no viewing prior to mass. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to St. Patrick Memorial Fund, 319 Mahantongo St. Pottsville PA, 17901 or Pottsville Free Public Library, 217 W. Market St. Pottsville PA, 17901. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.

Edward Joseph Motley, a life long resident of Mount Carbon, passed away peacefully, at his home. Husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, hero, and best friend.
Ed, age 87, was born on September 15, 1931 in Mount Carbon, the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Reifsnyder) Motley.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Georgine Schafer Motley in December of 2015, siblings: Mildred Centelege, and Frank Motley, and granddaughter, Karen Marie Motley.
He attended the Mount Carbon one-room school house, which later became the Mount Carbon Fire Company.
On February 14, 1947, a small boy, Bobby Ernst, fell through the ice and into the pond, across the street from the Mount Carbon School. At the age of 15, Edward ran past the teacher and the other students, plunged into the icy water and brought young Bobby to safety.
Ed also attended Pottsville Area High School, and left at the age of 17 to join the U.S. Army. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Ed was also a member of the American Legion, Post 38 in Schuylkill Haven.
Ed was a past President and Life member of the Mount Carbon Fire Company, and a member of the former St. Francis De Sales Church in Mount Carbon.
Ed worked for ALCOA for 45 years. He retired in 1993.
Ed is survived by five children. Donna Filer and her husband Ken of Avondale, PA; Ron and his wife Karen of Allentown, PA; Bill and his wife Bernie of Norwood, PA; Denise Zawada of Pottsville, PA and her partner Dave Parsons; and Duane and his wife Josie of Bath, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Doris Motley, Pottsville, and brother, Thomas Motley, Wymoissing.

Ban Vo, 56, Pottsville, died Tuesday morning in Pottsville.
Born January 1, 1962, in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife Thi Cam and his son The Vo.

Born in Pottsville on February 20, 1933, he was the son of the late James and Margaret (Buehler) Tenant.
He was a 1952 graduate of Pottsville High School.
Vincent proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
He was an office manager for the United States Library of Congress for 26 years, retiring in 1988.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Youshaw.
Vincent is survived by daughters: Geralyn Haggerty, wife of John, of Sarasota, FL; and Sharon Rose Dolak, of Keller, TX; sister: Carolyn Barone, of Pottsville; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment with military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday , December 26th at 2:00 p.m.

George A. Stephan, 82, of Minersville, passed away on Thursday at Schuylkill Center.
He was born in Lima, Ohio, son of the late Harold R. and Jane G. Stephan. He was a graduate of Ohio State University. He worked in the laser and semiconductor industries, serving as a marketing executive at several Silicon Valley technology firms throughout his career, including Coherent Radiation, InterDesign, and Universal Semiconductor, where he was a principle and president. Later he moved to Medford, Oregon, where he owned The Bookworm, an independent bookstore, for more than 10 years.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Stephan Cunningham.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lorraine “Mitch” Mitchell Stephan; a son, Kurt Stephan, and daughter-in-law, Dorothy Tuma, of Lake Forest Park, Washington; a grandson, Jesse Cunningham, of Lynnwood, Washington; a sister and brother-in-law, Marijane and Carlos Castells, of Annandale, Virginia; and a former wife, Sharon Stephan, of Lake Forest Park, Washington.
Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date.
Ezra Antonio Broadie, precious baby boy of Raymond Broadie and Ashley Vega, Williamstown, was born into the arms of the angels, Saturday December 22nd at the Hershey Medical Center.
Ezra is survived by his siblings, Ezekiel, Raylinn and Naomi Broadie; grandparents, Bill Vega, Tower City; Tina Darden, Millersburg; Candice Warren, Williamstown; Great Grandmother, Relda Abadom, Wiconisco. Aunts and uncles.

Charlene M. Briggs, 63, Shenandoah passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at her home with her family at her side.
Born in The former Ashland Hospital she was a daughter of the late Edward G. and Josephine Ayash Fadule.
She was a graduate of the former JW Cooper High School, Shenandoah.
Charlene is survived by her two sons; Travis Briggs, Shenandoah and Eric Briggs, Shenandoah Heights, two grandchildren; McKenzie and Travis Briggs, her brother Gary Fadule, NC and three sisters; Christine Lawson, Schuylkill Haven, Deborah Clark, Mahanoy City and Dianne Vatalare, Las Vegas, NV.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
