Shirley Elaine Reightler, of Tower City, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 28, 2018.
She was born December 4, 1926, in Clarks Valley, the daughter of the late Jon and Dora Adams Bohr. Her beloved husband Charles William Reightler died in 1986.
Mrs. Reightler is survived by her two sons and their families, Joel and Janet Reightler, Littlestown, PA., Stephen and Sandy Reightler, Dauphin, PA. Four grandchildren, Tara Reightler Stretch (husband Colin), Binstead, England, Megan Reightler Meckley (husband Trevor), Monrovia, MD, Seth Ryan Reightler (wife Kim), San Francisco, CA, Morgan Reightler Sourbeer (husband Frank), Mechanicsburg, PA. Great grandchildren, Henry Stretch, Oliver Stretch, Jack Meckley, Sophia Reightler and Paxton Reightler. a brother; Peter Bohr (wife Darlee) and family, Katie Bohr Brennan (husband Michael), Dawson and Conner; Peter Bohr (wife Missy), Colby and Howie, all of Tower City. She was preceded in death by her brother James Bohr and his wife Ethel.
Mrs. Reightler loved her family, her home, the outdoors and her independence.
Funeral services will he held Saturday, January 5th at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
