Robert "Bubby" Haas, 92, of Pitman, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his home.
Robert was born in Pitman, on April 25, 1926, a son of the late Edna (Fetterolf) and Daniel Haas.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Dorothy (Carpenter) Haas. Who passed away four years ago to the day, December 30, 2014.
He was a lifelong farmer owning and operating Oak Grove Farms, Pitman.
He was a member of St. Paul's E.C. Church, and had served on the official church board.
He was also a member of the Mahantongo Fire Company and the Woodmen of the Word Lodge 433 both of Pitman.
In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling and after retiring from farming enjoyed gardening.
Robert is survived by three daughters, Jean, wife of David Neye, of Klingerstown; Linda, wife of Charles Fetterolf, of Klingerstown; Melissa, wife of Steve Snyder, of Elizabethtown; a son,Kevin, husband of Theresa Haas, of Pitman; a brother, Willard Haas, of Lewisburg; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Eleanor M. Shaffer and an infant Orpha Haas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2018 from 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Paul's E.C. Church., Pitman, with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM with Pastor Todd Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Nadine Ortez-Belaus 52, of Pottsville Pa died early Christmas morning after some chronic illness and several battles of pneumonia and open heart surgery.
Nadine was born on June 25th 1966 in Carbondale Pa. She is a graduate of Carbondale Area High School.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Emily Merrigan.
Nadine is survived by her sons Shawn Ortiz of Colorado, Christopher Belaus of Schuylkill Haven, and daughter Julianna Belaus of Pottsville.
She will be missed by so many friends and family. Nadine was known as “MOM” to many of the neighborhood children and many others. Her door and heart were always open to those she loved and those in need or even strangers on the street.
A memorial service will be held at the Pottsville Zone on Saturday January 5th, 2019 from 11-3pm. Doors are open to anyone who wishes to attend and send their condolences or say their finally goodbyes to a beautiful and amazing soul known as Nadine aka MOM.

Ida Ivelisse Rivera, 55 years of age passed away on Friday December 28, 2018 at home in Minersville.
Born in Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Rafael Vazquez, Sr., and Ida N. (Monet) Vazquez. She is survived by; her husband, Jose Rivera; children, Gladys Maria Viera wife of Michael, Kevin Rivera, Jose Soto; siblings, Rafel O. Vazquez, Jr. and his wife Anna Lopez, Mireya Hernandez and her husband Raymond, Juan Carlos Vazquez, Christian Vazquez and his wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Joshua, and Jeremiah Viera.

Robert F. Cielinski, 80, of Woodland Acres, Norwegian Township, passed away on Wednesday at home.
Born in Minersville, he was the son of the late Frank and Beatrice Lukonis Cielinski. He was a 1956 graduate of Minersville High School.
After service in the Army, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service until retiring. He later worked for Weis Markets.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise Cielinski.
He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Ann Onushco; a stepson, Brian Kelly (spouse, Amy), Lititz; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Nathan Kelly; three sisters, Kathy Campion (spouse, Kevin), Gilbertsville, Evelyn Shields, Chambersburg, and Barbara Burke (spouse, Martin), Allentown.
Private interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Township.

Roger Longo, 64, of Sheppton, passed away Saturday, December 29th, 2018.
Roger was born in Hazleton on October 22, 1954, a son of the late Lois J. (Neidlinger) and Joseph R. Longo.
He was retired, having last worked as a equipment operator for East Union Township.
Roger was an avid fisherman, and he loved his pets, Benjie and Mr. Meow.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Hartman, of Virginia; a son, Jason Longo, of Mahanoy City; a twin brother, Thomas Longo and his wife Lisa, of Paducah, KY; brother Joseph Longo and his wife Jeanette, of Brandonville; and by sisters, Mary Jo VanGieson, of Sheppton and Caroline McFadden, of Berwick. He is also survived by his companion, Debbie Malore, of Sheppton along with grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM on Saturday, January 5th at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, with Rev. Craig Zimmerman officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rogers family from 4 PM to 6 PM on Saturday, January 5th at the funeral home prior to the service
