is expected to dump anywhere from 6-12 inches of snow by storm's end.
The storm is forecasted to strike Schuylkill County sometime between Noon and 2:00pm.
Snowfall is expected to last into the evening, until temperatures rise, where the snow will change over to rain and freezing rain, adding a layer of ice on top of the snow.
Before the storm ends early Sunday, and temperatures drop back below freezing, where the rain will turn back to snow showers.
Depending on the storms path, northern Schuylkill County could see up to a foot of snow with the more southern portions of the county receiving closer to 6 inches.
As the storm ends, we will see an increase in winds and temperatures will begin to drop. By midday Sunday, temperatures will be in the mid-teens but with the wind, it will feel more like single digits.
By end of Sunday, we could see a low in the negative digits!
Get that shovel ready and bundle up!
