A Pitman man, who is already in locked up in prison for a previous theft incident, is facing additional charges.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, Jason Connor, 41, of Pitman is now facing additional retail theft charges after it was found that he was stealing from the Dollar General in Ashland.
Police say Connor shoplifted a container of antiperspirant with a value of $2.50 and a slim jim with a value of $1.95 on January 5th, 2019 around 9:30pm.
After a previous investigation, Connor had been found to have shoved an employee and stolen items from Boyer's Food Market on the same date. Connor was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on the charges stemming from this incident.
This investigation prompted other businesses in the area to review their security footage.
Connor has been charged through Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale's office and will be arraigned at a later date through closed-circuit video.
