Nancy D. Baddick, 67, of Shinglehouse, formerly of Tamaqua, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at UPMC Cole, Coudersport, after suffering injuries in a motor vehicle accident.
Born on January 17, 1951 in Coaldale, she was a daughter of Edward and Grace Bennage DeLay. On February 3, 1984 in Tamaqua, she married Thomas Baddick, who survives.
Nancy was a graduate of Marian Catholic High School in Tamaqua. She was employed as an x-ray technologist at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg for many years.
Nancy and her husband moved to Shinglehouse 10 years ago. She loved her home there. Raising and breeding Decker Terriers was her passion. She enjoyed canning and making jelly for family and friends. She also enjoyed growing vegetables and flower gardening. She loved animals of any kind.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Seth R. Parfitt of Durham, N.C. and Bryce Thomas Baddick of Shinglehouse; a daughter, Dr. Marissa B. (Marco) Abreu of Indianapolis, Indiana; a granddaughter, Delaney Parfitt; two sisters, Barbara DeLay of Tamaqua and Carol (John) Schickram of Hometown; a nephew, Bryan DeLay; two nieces, Amy Rarick and Johnna Schickram; and a grandnephew, Dylan DeLay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Teacher’s Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.
Nancy’s family has entrusted her care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.

Michael Wishousky, age 76 of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania died on Monday, January 14, 2019 at his home in Orwigsburg.
Born Sunday, August 30, 1942 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Michael Wishousky and the late Mary Goida Wishousky.
Surviving are brother, Russell Wishousky and his wife, Darlene of New Ringgold, and a niece, Shelly Koch and her husband, Derek of Elizabethtown.
Michael liked to garden and spend time working in the greenhouse for REDCO Group. He was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies.

Howard L. Dry, 75, of Schuylkill Haven, PA, passed away Monday, January 14th, at his residence, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Born in Pottsville, PA on January 8, 1944, he was a son of the late George H. & Margaret A. (Windish) Dry.
He was the husband of Dorothy E. (Bauers) Dry. The couple shared 51 years of marriage.
Howard was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1961.He received his doctorate from New York School of Chiropractic.
He was employed as a teacher at McCann School of Business & Technology, Hazelton.
Howard had served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1971.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven; where he had served as a Catechism teacher.
Howard was also a member of the Penn State Master Gardeners.
In addition to his wife, Howard is also survived by a sister, Peggy Strouse & husband, Samuel, Schuylkill Haven, nephew, Scott Strouse, Edgewater, FL, niece, Rebecca Carroll, wife of John, Schuylkill Haven, and great-nephews: Riley, Adam, & Jonathan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 17th,with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating.
A calling hour will be held Thursday, prior to mass from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. in the church's chapel.
Interment will immediately follow mass at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Regina M. Merritt, 59, formerly of Mahanoy City, passed away suddenly January 2, 2019 at her home in Mount Carmel, PA.
Born in Shenandoah, PA April 15, 1959 the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Almonti) Klemo. She graduated from Mahanoy Area High School and was a ballet teacher. She loved theatre and arts, and her dog Einstein.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Merritt.
She is survived by her companion, John McClain; three sisters: twin Dina Quinn, Allentown, Ann Klemo, and Michelle Tyson of Colorado. Nieces and nephews: Dina Quinn, Brian Zimmerman, and Jessica Mulkusky. Great nieces and nephews; Matt, Amanda, and Brandt Tyson; Jennifer, Christina and Joseph Khalil, and John Lyles.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
