Robert Jonathan "Bobby" Wetzel, age 31, of Frackville, PA passed away Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 at his residence.
Bobby was a very kind, compassionate, loving, and respectful young man always greeting people with his contagious smile and a heart of gold.
Born in Pottsville, PA on March 21, 1987, he was the son of the late Kenneth R. Wetzel and Donna Ann (Speidel) Wetzel, who survives him in Frackville.
Bobby was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School, Class of 2005. He first worked for many local pizza restaurants, at Walmart Transportation, for Jeldwen Windows in Ringtown and last as a nurse’s aide for Addus Home Health Care taking care of his father for five years.
Bobby was a cubscout and a boyscout in Pack 790 of Frackville. He loved riding his ATV, going fishing, spending time with his best companion and dog Bambino and especially being with his late father Ken.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandfather John Speidel and paternal grandfather Robert Wetzel
In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by three brothers: Eric Rizzo and his wife Christine, Philip Rizzo and his wife Maria, and Kenneth Wetzel; a sister Megan Wagner; three nieces: Kianna, Erica, and Sophia; a nephew Zach; five cousins: Michelle, Michael, Ashley, Brittany, and Johnny; Godmother Darlene Speidel; Godchild Trevor; Godfather John Speidel and his wife Kim; maternal grandmother Annette Speidel; paternal grandmother Helen Long; aunt Mary Kay Deroba and her husband Ron; and other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Bobby. Family and friends are asked to contact his brothers Eric or Phil for the information of the day and time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.

Charles T. Phillips, 95 of Pottsville, died Thursday at the Gardens at York Terrace Nursing Home, Pottsville.
He was born January 29, 1923 in St. Clair a son of the late James and Catherine McGuire Phillips.
He attended Pottsville schools.
He was a proud Army veteran having severed as a medic in the European Theatre during World War II.
He was owner of the former Phillips Delicatessen in Minersville.
Charles was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville and the American Legion.
Throughout his life Charles was a big Norte Dame Football fan and enjoyed hunting with his son John.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Mary O’Brian Phillips on September 4, 1988; 6 brothers, James, Thomas, Joseph, Edward, John, and Francis Phillips; a sister Anna Slane. Surviving are a son, John Samay and his wife Grace, Pottsville; 2 grandsons Matthew Samay and his wife Amy, Reisterstown, MD; Kevin Samay and his wife Melissa, Pottsville; 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Riley Samay; a step great-grandson, Quinn Evans; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:30AM from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to call at church from 10:30AM until the time of mass. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contribution made to Pottsville Soup Kitchen C/O St. Patrick Church 319 Mahantongo St., PA, 17901 or Compassus Hospice, 10 Zions Church Rd. Suite 204, Shoemakersville PA, 19555. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.

Eugene F. Kabilko Sr., 76, of Tamaqua, PA, passed away Sunday, January 20th, at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Gene was born in Mahanoy City, PA on July 29, 1942, a son of the late Mary (Lowatti) and Frank Kabilko.
He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the American Legion Post 173, Tamaqua.
Gene was retired from Silberline Manufacturing, Lansford, PA, where he worked for 36 years.
He is survived by a son, Eugene F. Kabilko Jr. and daughter-in-law Michelle, of Hometown; daughter, Dana (Kabilko) Roth of Allentown, PA; four grandchildren, Akeyla, Ryan, Kori, and Jonathan; and 15 nieces and nephews, all of whom loved him dearly. We will miss spending time with him while watching Penn State Football, listening to his stories about the great outdoors, and growing-up in a family where ‘family always came first.’
He is preceded in death by his brothers John and Michael.
Service will be private, at the convenience of the family.
