Around 11:00pm Friday night, emergency personnel were called to the area of Pride Mobile Home Sales along Route 61 near St. Clair.
Edward Whalen, 52, was walking along Route 61 when he was struck by a passing vehicle.
Whalen was taken to the hospital were he later died.
According to the Schuylkill County Coroner's Office, Whalen died from blunt force trauma and the incident was ruled accidental.
The incident's information was not available from the St. Clair Police Department as of Saturday evening.
