A woman who failed to stop at the end of a roadway was injured in a crash in Ringtown.
According to Ringtown Police, the crash occurred on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 around 6:00pm when Betty Jane Buffington, 89, of Downingtown, PA was operating a 2010 Hyundai Sedan eastbound on Main Street in the borough.
Buffington came to the end of the roadway and continued across a private lot and struck a trailer and boat.
After striking the trailer, Buffington backed up, continued across a private lot towards a wooded area and struck a tree head on.
Buffington was injured in the crash and was transported to an area hospital by Shenandoah ALS.
A pedestrian at the scene was not injured.
The trailer, boat, and property all sustained damage.
Ringtown Police report that Buffington will be cited with several traffic violations.
