Ashland Police Arrest Two Wanted on Warrants

While in search of a wanted person, Ashland Police arrested two other individuals wanted on warrants.

According to Ashland Police, around 12:20pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2019, officers went to the address of 1004 Centre Street in search of a wanted person.

While in one of the apartments, police found in plain sight on the dining room table, drug paraphernalia, along with a white powdery substance and approximately 250 glassine baggies.

A male who was passed out on the couch, identified as Jason Fanelli, 39.  Fanelli was found to be wanted on a domestic warrant.   Police told Fanneli to empty his pockets, where he pulled out a glass tube with burnt marks on it.  While police searched Fanelli, a large pill bottle containing a crystallized substance fell out of his sweatshirt sleeve, suspected to be methamphetamine.

Fanelli was transported to Schuylkill County Prison for the active warrant.  Charges of possession with intent to deliver will be filed.

Also in the apartment at the time was a man later identified as Brian Cyr, 30.  When police asked him his name, he identified himself as Zachary Cyr.  Police knew he was not who he said he was.

Brian Cyr was found to be wanted by the District Attorney's Office.  While taking Cyr into custody police seen approximately 1200 empty wax paper baggies, a scale with a white powdery substance, and 2 empty glassine baggies inside in open safe in plain view.

Cyr was transported to Schuylkill County Prison for the warrant.  He will also be facing charges of false identification to law enforcement and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A woman in the apartment at the time, Amber Manhart, fled out a back door and will be facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
