One Flown After Rollover Crash near Frackville Overnight

One person was injured in a rollover crash near Frackville overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Just after 2:00am, emergency personnel were dispatched to the Frackville-Shenandoah Highway (Route 924) between Frackville and Gilberton, near the Rock Fence, for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

When crews and police arrived, they found a truck that had overturned with one male trapped inside.

Gilberton's Fire and the West End Fire Company from Mahanoy City responded along with police.

The victim was cut from the vehicle after removing the roof and taken to a waiting helicopter and flown to an area hospital.
